To comply with recommendations of the Office of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to slow the spread of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus), the office staff of the Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors are currently working remotely until further notice.
While the staff is temporarily away from the office, we will continue to perform the business of the Board. Email is the recommended means of communication and will be monitored during the Board office's regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Please email the Board at info@funeral.ohio.gov for assistance.
We ask your patience and understanding during these rapidly changing times.

Printing of License Certificates Delayed
The State of Ohio Boards and Agencies have been experiencing technical difficulties with internal printing since Wednesday, July 21, 2021.
Please be aware that these issues are having a direct impact on our ability to produce printed copies of license certificates
and other important documents which you may be waiting for.
We apologize for the delay and will restart production as soon as possible once the issues are resolved.
Thank you for your patience.

If you submitted your 2021-2022 Compliance Period License Renewals between February 10, 2021 and April 15, 2021
then you should have received your Pocket Renewal Card(s) in May.
This batch was mailed April 27, 2021
With the possible delay of mail being processed by the USPS,
it may take longer to receive your cards than expected.
All cards were mailed individually, so if you are expecting more than one card please watch for separate mailings.
Pocket Cards for licenses renewed after April 15, 2021 and during the extension period will arrive in the mail at a later date.
Mailing Address and Email Address Changes
It is the responsibility of the Licensee to make all INDIVIDUAL mailing address and email address changes via your eLicense dashboard.
The Board does not typically make those changes for you.
These addresses are extremely important as they are used when we send you communications.
Please see the yellow sidebar on page 3 of the June 2021 Newsletter "RESPECT" for instructions.
